Auld Lang Syne

Category musings
As my first full year of blogging draws to a close, I considered doing a typical "year in review" post; this certainly has been quite a year... one adventure after another. But as I looked back, one realization stood out above all others: I feel as though I've learned more in the past year than in the previous eight combined. So I've decided to make this a "thank you" post instead of just a recap.

Paul Gauguin once said, "Art is either plagiarism or revolution." I'd like to express my appreciation to a few folks whose revolutionary contributions to the art form of programming have in some way made my own pursuits easier, more fun, more fascinating, and more rewarding during the course of this year.
