One of the pod people
Category domino
I have become one of the pod people: similar to Gregg's recent phone call, I returned a missed call from Bruce on Tuesday and he pretended that he was recording a surprise podcast. We chatted for a while about the Notes 8 beta, and I made an offhand comment about how I've been using MojoPac to test the beta instead of running it inside a virtual machine or just upgrading my laptop's installation of Notes. He figured the Taking Notes listeners might be intrigued by that approach, so we recorded a mini-podcast about it, which he inserted in the middle of Episode 57.
He's planning on having me back on the 'cast in a couple weeks to sum up my likes, dislikes, and so forth about the beta. Okay, weird mental image: for some reason I just imagined a little Notes waffle with arms and legs (similar to the old 7-Up Spot character) sitting on a mushroom in a forest, pulling petals off of a daisy... "he likes me, he likes me not, he likes me..."

Bizarre.
Anyway, there's even been talk of doing an entire podcast about XIDED. If we do, I promise to try not to say "uhhhhh" quite so much.
