Quite a week

Category musings
I've had a rather exciting week. Big changes coming. I wish I could say more, but we've agreed not to give specifics just yet. In fact, when the time comes, you might not hear it from me first. In the meantime, for those who already know, don't spoil the surprise. Have I been sufficiently vague? I'd like to think so.

So what happened to the plan to release XIDED on May 6? Functionally, it's at the point I wanted it to be by then. But I have a couple reasons for wanting to hold off. For those of you that want to buy it, it's coming soon, I promise. I'll explain more later.

Sorry I'm being so mysterious. But in the same vein, I'll leave you with just one more tease:

Yup, that's DXL. Just as FormName?ReadForm will give you a read-only representation of any form, for the domain above, FormName/ReadFormDesign for any form on the server will generate the DXL of the form's entire design. This isn't standard Domino behavior... it's a little trick involving substitution rules and an agent. This wasn't my idea (I just threw together a quick and dirty implementation), so I'll let the inventor give you the details.
