BleedYellow.com

Category lotusphere
One of the announcements we made immediately prior to Lotusphere was the launch of BleedYellow.com, a Lotus Connections site we're making available for use by the entire Lotus community. My boss posted a great summary of how well the site has been received so far and what we've got planned for it in the future.

Two items that I think will prove, over time, to be particularly huge:
  • We wrote a LotusScript API for Connections. This started as a way to easily migrate our own blogs to BleedYellow at some point, but grew into a rather full-featured API. Yes, TimTripcony.com will eventually move to BleedYellow. What I'll probably do, actually, is post technical stuff over there and occasional personal stuff over here. In the meantime I'm just cross-posting any Lotus-related articles at my BleedYellow blog, so feel free to add that to your feed reader now, but for the time being that will just duplicate what I've got here (though it'll also weed out the random musings that tend to show up here from time to time).
  • BleedYellow includes Sametime. Add a community for im.bleedyellow.com and log in using your BleedYellow account. Then add the "Yellowbleeders" public group if you want to be able to see everyone who's logged in. Somehow this hasn't gotten as noticed as the rest of the site so far, but I suspect it'll take off big once word gets around.
